Tanya: I use rome2rio.com. It’s the best website to see all the possible ways you can reach your destination, how long each takes and how much they all cost. It really is one of the most useful travel sites out there.
Tanya: 40 something, but I have a problem with returning to a lot of countries time after time instead of going to a new place to explore. But can you blame me for wanting to return to Bali or Italy every year?!
Tanya: I’d like to revisit a few of my favourite countries in S.E Asia such as Thailand and the Philippines. I’d also like to see a few new places like Nepal, Tibet and Sri Lanka. Places with really beautiful and unique landscapes.
Tanya: That would easily be Bali. I’ve visited every year for the last 3 years and will happily keep going back. The people are incredibly friendly, their villas are so beautifully designed, the food is delicious, there’s always a new waterfall or beach to explore and it’s super convenient and cheap for Aussies to travel to.
Tanya: Both have been in Italy. The best sandwich I’ve ever had was from All’Antico Vinaio in Florence and the best pasta from Gastronomia San Martino in Cinque Terre, which is ironic considering I didn’t think I really liked pasta before I ate there. I would return to both those places purely for the food.
Tanya: Yes of course traveling is exhausting. I usually spend those days relaxing at the hotel or airbnb catching up on TV shows and doing research for the next part of the trip.
Tanya: It definitely makes me appreciate home much more and everything that Australia offers.
